This page explains how accounts work on PassDeployer and how to find your way around the interface. Sign-up is passwordless-first: you enter an email address or phone number, receive a verification code, and the account is created for you. A password is optional and can be added at any time. After that, the whole platform is reachable from one consistent navigation.

Signing in and creating an account
Open Sign in / Sign up from the top bar or the floating menu. The authentication page adapts to the login settings your administrator has configured, but the standard flow looks like this.
:::steps
• Enter your identifier
Type your username (if enabled), then choose the Method toggle — Email or Phone — and enter the address or number you want to use.
• Request a verification code
Press Send Verification Code. If the identifier is unknown, submitting the code automatically creates a new account — there is no separate registration form.
• Verify
Enter the code you received in the Verification Code field and press Verify.
• Set a password (new accounts)
New accounts are asked to Set Password. Choose one that meets the minimum length, confirm it, and press Save & Login.
:::
[!TIP] If your account already has a password, the flow asks for it directly on the Password step. Both factors may be required when the administrator enables password-as-second-factor.
Recovering your username
If you forgot which username belongs to your email or phone, press Forgot Username? on the welcome step. After a short verification code, the platform shows your username in a copyable box and returns you to the login form with the username pre-filled.
Resetting your password
Press Forgot Password?, choose the email or phone method, and request a reset code. The Reset Password step asks for the code plus a new password and its confirmation; on success you are logged straight back in.
:::warning
Password recovery and username recovery must be enabled by an administrator. If you do not see these buttons, or the login page shows a "Login temporarily unavailable" card, contact support — the administrator may have closed login temporarily or restricted sign-up to invite links.
:::
Invite links
When sign-up requires an invitation, open the invite URL first. A valid invite shows a green confirmation like "Valid invite: Beta batch 1" with the number of remaining uses, and your new account is created under that invite automatically.
Navigation: the top bar and sidebar
The sticky top bar is present on every page of the public area. The hamburger button on the left opens the navigation drawer; the brand button returns to the home page. When you are signed in, the right side shows the ticket notification bell and your avatar; when signed out, it shows the Sign in / Sign up button.
